电影（沂蒙红嫂祖秀莲）是以沂蒙红嫂祖秀莲为题材，主要讲述了革命战争年代，日本鬼子扫荡我蒙山大地，地方老百姓与红军对抗日本鬼子展开斗智斗勇的保家卫国的故事沂蒙红嫂祖秀莲带领老百姓冒着生命危险救护红军伤员，其中郭伍士被枪中三枪刺刀二刀，伤势严重。祖秀莲将其藏于家中，精心救护后又想法将其送回部队。郭伍士心怀感恩之心，复员后回到沂蒙山区奉养祖秀莲终老的感人故事。
