To be concrete, the number of Chinese studentsto pursue a further study in other countries experienced a steady gain of 3.3million, from roughly 120 million in 2007 to approximately 450 million in 2016.Meanwhile, the growth rate also ascended stably in the first 6 years and reachedits peak in 2012, and since then that began to decline gradually.

What triggers this phenomenon? Maybe at least two reasons can be identifiedto contribute to this matter. But the most vital one is that with theaccelerating pace of the economy and society, parents in mounting numbers havepossessed sufficient financial resources, which enables them to afford theirchildren’s higher education in developed countries, as a consequence of which,an increasing number students choose to study abroad. Simultaneously, there isno denying that owing to even more desirable education facilities and atmospherein advanced countries, like the United States and British, than those in ourcountry, so that it is without wonder that an ocean of students would love tostudy overseas to equip them with a preferable education.

Taking what has been analyzed above into consideration, we may concludethat along with the development of globalization, it is feasible for students tomake access to more opportunities to acquire education. Considering the dataabove, I am well convinced that there is no surprise to see more students tendto study abroad in the near future. Nevertheless,

youngsters are supposed totreat studying abroad rationally. Although it is profitable for broadeningpeople’s horizons, it may also lead an extravagant and meaningless life for somepeople. To some students, studying in our own universities is also a goodchoice.
