(1)作为早期的将计算机技术融入护理教育文献,此文献具有先导性作用。
(2)文章中提到的flexibility这个概念可为之后的self-directed learning 研究领域提供参考。
(3)从现在来看文章虽然有点过时,但也反映了计算机作为学习的载体随时代的发展计算机和学生的学习能力都得到提高。

研究方法 research methods
采用之前经过证实有效性的调查问卷来确定护理学生使用计算机的能力和局限。
读后感 comment
(1) about the title: flexible learning. what level of flexible learning the students have? the author didn't tell us. and what is difference between flexible leaning and self-directed learning? what difference between learning contract and flexible learning? the further research maybe can think this.
(2) about operability of this research: maybe is not operational, because nursing education need more practical skills and clinical experience, while flexible learning of postgrad students maybe more focus on computer and flexible time and location, i think nur
sing education need learning at laboratory concentrated at one place and one time the peer students can attend together.
(3) about the scope of this article: this topics discussed are so broad that there is no central argument in the part of discussion.
(4) timeliness of this article: it is undeniable that this article at that time (2000-2002) conforms to the research trend in emerge days of computers, especially the novelty is combine the nursing education with computer. but this article seems a bit dated at this moment (2019-2020). it’s better used for literature review.
