such statistics can be associated with the positive and negative impacts of cell phones upon college students’ life and study. for one thing, smart phones are characterized by the diverse functions, such as se

arching for information, taking online courses, enjoying music and videos. this brings youngsters convenience and makes their life and study colorful. for another, compared with people at other ages, a large percentage of college students, i guess, use cell phones for a longer time, and some of them even get addicted to online games, chatting or shopping on smart phones.

thus, it is advisable for the students’ union in this university to hold various activities to inform students of the related harms caused by staring at phones for a long time. of course, all phone users themselves should bear in mind that they are not slaves to any technological products, including cell phones, computers and the internet.
